As a kid, I didn’t get much of an opportunity to travel. My first vacation was for my fifth birthday when I got to experience Hershey, PA. That trip stuck with me, and as a teenager, I sought out opportunities to take trips in high school through choir competitions and Model UN, even returning to Hershey on a few occasions.
Once I was an adult, the world opened up to me, and I had the freedom and resources to make traveling even more fun. My favorite short drive vacation is Annapolis, MD where the seafood is AMAZING! Along the rest of the Atlantic Coast I’ve played games with my family in Myrtle Beach and watched dolphins in the ocean from a beach house balcony in the Outer Banks. In April of 2016, I took my very first first vacation to Disney World Resort in Orlando, and I was immediately hooked. When I got married, my husband and I honeymooned in Disney during the holiday season, and we brought our kids for the first time in 2023.
Now, traveling is one of my favorite things to do – especially if I’m near the water! I find deep joy in planning my own trips, and have found planning the trips for others is almost as much fun as going on them myself. Travel is magical through the eyes of a kid, but I truly believe it’s just as special through the eyes of an adult who hasn’t experienced it much before! As a Vacationista, I love to bring that magic to my clients, and work hard to make vacations easy and stress-free for everyone.
